Early years
He was born & raised in the settlement of Toronto, Ohio. Due to the similarity in name only by using Toronto, Ontario, many sources list him when existence the Canadian. His 2nd married woman is from either a latter city.

Urich attend Florida State University on a football scholarship. Within 1968 he earned the bachelor's degree within Radio & Television Communications. He went in to Michigan State University after working in Ohio to earn an master's within Broadcast Locate & Management.

Acting Career
